John Scott is partnering with Crafter’s TV to launch his brand-new show, John Scott’s Sewing World.
TV shopping channel, Crafter’s TV, which is owned by Crafter’s Companion, is partnering with John to launch a four-hour weekly sewing special, with the first programme airing on March 3rd at 8AM.
John Scott’s Sewing World will bring customers the latest products in the sewing sphere, featuring new fabric collections and favourite designers, in addition to exciting demonstrations and special live offers.
John Scott’s illustrious career has spanned across the TV, film, fashion and quilting industries. He started as a pattern cutter in regional theatre in Wales but soon found himself working on West End theatre productions, before creating costumes for Hollywood movies including Interview with a Vampire, Goldeneye, The World Is Not Enough, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Tomorrow Never Dies and Tomb Raider, to name but a few.
John has also worked on TV projects including Agatha Christie’s Poirot and Catherine Cookson’s Black Candle. He spent 10 years at ITV’s This Morning as the programme’s resident fashion guru and, more recently, became the face of Sewing Quarter which, like all of his career highlights, had sewing at its heart.
John said: “I have always wanted to share my love of sewing and quilting with others so I developed John Scott’s Sewing World as a place where people can celebrate this glorious art, learn new skills and enjoy my company. It will be a feel-good place to celebrate all things sewing and quilting and, just like the John Scott Sewing World website, everyone will feel welcome, no matter the skill level.
“The people at Crafter’s TV are truly inspirational. I really believe that they are passionate about developing a fabulous, irresistible range of sewing and quilting products to tempt everyone. They understand that people really want to see how things are created so viewers will be able to learn from these shows and really improve their skills.
