Oh I thought the mountain fold was as a tent fold and the valley t'other way.

Serves me right for never reading what it says in the books, and just looking at the pictures!

I've just tried this to get you some measurements:

    Open MCS in landscape.

Choose a background design (or coloured rectangle) that you like (this is going to be your border) set the size to 14.8 cm (w) x 21.0 cm (h) Position Top 0 and Left 0.

Select a matching colour for a second rectangle and size it 11.55 cm x 18 cm and set this at Top 1.65 cm Left 1.5 cm over the first rectangle.

If you reduce their opacity you'll cut down on ink consumption.

Add the image of your choice

You can then either use the Add Text or Load Verse (some MCS CDs have verses you can access via this) for your greeting. You can also save any verses you have written on MCS by right clicking on it followed by Verse and save

Thank-you, I've just been browsing the urbanfonts site and have acquired some great type-faces. A great Rennie-Mackinoshie style one which is now nestling in my vaults.

yep! I do my own inserts, sometimes I stamp and emboss a flourish or daisy or something that compliments. I once used an insert from JS cd, and had to cut it square after it printed wonkey. (printer and paper load settings are variable on all machines, but operator error in loading the paper was my fault! )

I use the cd "My Verse Editor Plus" Can't go wrong with this, it has a selection of borders, you can change colours, all card sizes pre-set or you can customize and paste into it other images.

Of course, it would be yet another expense to buy. I have used this for years, before JS
and MCS and others included this facility in their cd's and it is still my preference.
